But Scotland will head to Cardiff to contest the Doddie Weir Cup, which is in honour of the former Scotland lock who has Motor Neurone Disease.
The trophy has been donated by the Welsh Rugby Union and the two sides will contest it in similar circumstances in the future.
The clash is set for Saturday, November 3 at the Principality Stadium, with kick-off at 2.45pm.
Scotland will be back in Wales during the Six Nations, playing in Cardiff on February 3 next year.
When did two home nations last play each other at this time of year?
SOUTHERN hemisphere teams have almost exclusively provided opposition for Wales and the other Celtic nations during the autumn.
It's 15 years since these sides last played each other before outside a tournament, a warm-up for the 2003 World Cup that Wales won 23-9.
That game was the only other meeting between the countries outside the Five or Six Nations in the 135-year history of the fixture.
