Vote for who is responsible for Manchester United’s recent shortcomings

Manchester United’s recent troubles – who is responsible: the board, the players or Mourinho?

Clearly all is not well at Manchester United, as Jose Mourinho’s side slumped to an embarrassing 3-2 defeat against Brighton this weekend.

United looked devoid of all confidence in the game, and lacked any of the desire, imagination or cutting edge necessary to win a Premier League away game, let alone mount a serious title challenge.

United endured a pretty torrid pre-season, and Sunday’s shambolic performance looks to have compounded their problems, but the question is: ‘who’s to blame for United’s obvious shortcomings?’

Is it the United board, who seemingly failed to back Mourinho in the summer? Or is it the players, who clearly aren’t performing to the required level?

Or is it Jose, who is failing to get the best out of what he has at his disposal?

We want to hear YOUR thoughts. Click to up-vote where you think the blame lies and we’ll see who the majority of fans think is responsible for United’s current failings.
