Vile neo-Nazi group in 'organised plot' to have match abandoned after stewards 'ditched bibs to join in racist abuse'

THE sickening racist abuse England stars suffered during the game with Bulgaria was part of an organised plot by twisted neo-Nazis, it was claimed last night.

One Bulgarian player reportedly told Three Lions captain Harry Kane the right-wing ultras deliberately wanted the international match abandoned.

The Mirror reports  the player told how yobs deliberately abused Raheem Sterling, Marcus Rashford and Tyrone Mings with monkey taunts and Nazi salutes in a bid to get the match called off.

The game was eventually stopped twice and a third time would have meant it being abandoned completely.

The latest revelations come after it was claimed Bulgarian stewards took off their bibs and joined in the racist abuse.

Employees from Fare, an organisation set up to counter discrimination within the sport, saw “at least” 20 staff joined in with some of offensive chanting.

SHOCKING REPUTATION

The persistent racist abuse aimed at England’s stars marred their 6-0 win at the Stadion Vasil Levski in Sofia.

It was kind of outrageous behaviour that has come to haunt Bulgarian football – whose fans have a shocking reputation.

England almost walked off the pitch after the referee had to halt play during the first half because of the abuse – as part of Uefa’s new anti-racism protocol.

It has since emerged that some of the staff working inside the ground may have also contributed to the shocking chants and atmosphere.
