Tyson Fury issues chilling threat to heavyweight rival Deontay Wilder

Tyson Fury has threatened to "rip Deontay Wilder’s heart out" when the pair meet later this year.

Fury has returned to training ahead of his proposed world title challenge against the WBC champion which is due to be held in Las Vegas in November.

And in typical fashion, the former unified champion did not mince his words.

"I’m coming for you Wilder," he said on Instagram . "I’m going to rip your heart out and feed it to you on a plate you dosser."

Fury has fought just twice since he dethroned Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015.

His facile victory over Sefer Seferi in June was followed by a 10-round points win over Francesco Pianeta last month.

Meanwhile, Lennox Lewis believes Wilder’s fight with Fury will trump Anthony Joshua’s with Alexander Povetkin.

Joshua will defend his WBA, WBO and IBF titles against Povetkin at Wembley on September 22.

"Fury and Wilder is way bigger than Povetkin and Anthony," he said.

"You have two top guys up the top there, and they’re going to be boxing each other, and they’re big. The public wants to see it. (Fury) did the right move (in agreeing to fight in America). He’s really stepping up; he heard the cry and he stepped up.

"It’s a little dangerous, but I thought the (victorious Wladimir) Klitschko fight was dangerous, I was saying ‘Who did you fight to prepare you for this?’ But he showed up on the night and he looked good.

"I was surprised that he danced around for 12 rounds. (But) you can see he’s progressing and getting the weight off. He’ll be right when it comes to Wilder."
