Tyson Fury gives update on Deontay Wilder clash and compares himself to boxing legend Floyd Mayweather

Talks are still ongoing as to the date and location for the heavyweight world title fight, although both men are adamant it will happen before the year is out.

Fury is back in the gym after two weeks out following his second comeback victory against Francesco Pianeta.

In that time he also announced he and wife Paris are expecting their fifth child.

Fury uploaded a video to Twitter where he spoke of how his preparations for his very own American Dream are getting on.

He said: “Everything is going really well. I’ve really trained hard, I’m really motivated – really on it to perform and do the best I can do."

Then speaking about his heavyweight rivals, Fury added: "I don’t believe I can be beat by any of these bums really.

“I’m going to show you what happens when you get the big puncher who fights the man they can’t land on.

He went on to compare himself to some of the sport's best ever, saying that a “slick boxer” will come out victorious “99 per cent of the time.”

He said: “Look at how many big punchers Floyd Mayweather has fought, look at the big punchers Roy Jones has fought – [Sugar] Ray Leonard, they all fought big punchers and always the slick boxer comes out on top 99 per cent of the time.

“Unless you get knocked out which you can’t help but I don’t intend on getting knocked out, I’m going to be slicker – slippery, it’s going to be epic.

“It’s going to be a great night and you’re going to say: ‘how did he do that,’ and I’m going to say ‘I told you so.’"
