Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino admits he wants to manage in the MLS

The Spurs chief, 46, has revealed his love for the US after spending many a preseason tour on the other side of the Atlantic.

Pochettino's future has been the topic of the season so far, with rumours linking him to both Real Madrid and Manchester United.

But it would appear the Argentine former Southampton boss has more options than just the two European giants.

When asked if he'd consider managing in the US one day, Poch told ESPN: "Yes, why not?

"Generally, we go over to the United States every summer for preseason. Every year you see this growth with the fans.

"It's a country where there's a lot of things to discover and football is growing incredibly.

"Why not? I don't close doors. It's clear that it's an attractive country for football nowadays.

"But I think with more time and in many more years it'll be even more attractive.

Of course, I see myself there one day."

Recently, Pochettino revealed he is in no position to guarantee he will stay at Spurs – despite claiming he wants to help the club achieve their goals.

Poch added: “I love my job and of course I love a big challenge. When I arrived at Tottenham, I knew very well the challenge would be tough.

“We are victims of our own success, the club was at a different level. I am a very positive person.

"I am going to stick with the club until the end to help the club achieve all they want.”

But when asked if this was a good time to promise he would still be at the club next year, he added: "I can't promise that."
