Thiago Silva's home robbed during PSG win – with £900,000 worth of valuables stolen

The PSG captain had his house burgled on Saturday evening, according to Lequipe, while his side were playing Nantes.

According to the report Silva had several items of jewellery stolen, including a luxury watch, with the estimated loss of £900,000.

Silva has become the latest PSG victim of burglary as in November striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting had his house broken into while in England playing Liverpool.

On the occasion thieves got off with goods with the value of around £500,000, as mostly jewels and handbags were taken.

In December 2017, Unai Emery, now Arsenal’s manager, had his Paris apartment broken into while he was in charge at PSG.

PSG beat Nantes 1-0 thanks to a second-half goal from Kylian MBappe, with the burglary victim Silva playing the full 90 minutes.

Silva’s side top Ligue One seven points ahead of second place Lille, while PSG also have two games in hand.
