WHAT’S ON TONIGHT?
Cardinals at Braves (7 p.m. ET, ESPN): An example of how weird the “win” stat is in baseball: Michael Wacha has a 5.35 ERA but a record of 3-0, while Mike Soroka has a 1.21 ERA and a 3-1 record. We’ll see whose respective luck wins out when they face off tonight.
Raptors at Bucks (8:30 p.m. ET, TNT): The Eastern Conference finals tips off tonight, and if any of the games comes close to the absurdity of that Raptors-76ers Game 7 (which inspired Kawhi Leonard to actually break his composure and yell in triumph), we’re in for a good one. If nothing else, the Kawhi-Giannis matchup is going to be fascinating.
Overwatch League 2019 All-Stars (9 p.m. ET, ESPN2): Day 1 of the Overwatch League’s All-Star festivities features the Talent Takedown (in which casters and analysts face off in a match that’s tailor-made for memes) and the Widowmaker 1v1 quarterfinals and semifinals, in which the best marksmen from each team compete for the title of “best head-clicker in the game.”
