The best supported clubs in Europe by aggregate attendance including Manchester United and Arsenal… while Tottenham's Wembley stint boosts them to third

The Red Devils attracted nearly 1.5 million fans across the 2017/18 season, despite Old Trafford being just the 13th biggest stadium in the continent.

A total of six English clubs were included in the top 15, along with Scottish champions Celtic.

While Germany and Spain both had three teams representing, with two Italian side's completing the list.

Figures released from Uefa's tenth licensing benchmarking report show that more fans are watching football than ever, with a record high of 105 million spectators.

Borussia Dortmund followed United in the table despite averaging more fans per game, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side involved in more matches.



Tottenham finished in third place – a position they have been familiar with in recent years – with Wembley holding a max capacity of 90,000.

Bayern Munich came in fourth spot, with Spanish duo Barcelona and Real Madrid closely following behind.

Seventh belonged to Arsenal, with Inter Milan and Celtic in hot pursuit of the North Londoners.

West Ham surprisingly came in tenth, with Atletico Madrid, Schalke, Manchester City, Liverpool and AC Milan all just behind.
