Strip club staff make shock discovery on ceiling after Mayweather’s $50k spree

Floyd Mayweather is no stranger to strip clubs and the self-proclaimed ‘TBE’ left his mark on a recent trip to Atlantic City by throwing $50,000 (£39,000) on to a stage.

The American could be seen reaching into a backpack before ‘making it rain’ at the Scores strip club.

Now in retirement, the undefeated former world champion boxer made a visit to New Jersey and after his night out, staff were left stunned by the heaps of cash found after it closed.

TMZ Sports report cleaners found thousands of bills in the ceiling vents and on furniture to cap a big night out for ‘Money.’

The 41-year-old lived up to his name at dinner before his strip club visit, attending Robert’s Steakhouse for dinner.

A $5,000 bottle of Louis XIII cognac was purchased for his friends at the table, with Mayweather known to not drink.

Mayweather has been out of the ring since last August when he outclassed UFC fighter Conor McGregor in a showcase boxing match, in which the American pocketed a guaranteed $100 million.

And Mayweather reopened his feud with the Irishman by proclaiming his stoppage win to be the easiest work of his career.

Alongside a picture of him battering McGregor whilst trapped on the ropes, he wrote: "Easiest 9 figures I ever made! All work is what?"

The Irishman will make his anticipated return to the UFC on October 6 against Khabib Nurmagomedov for the lightweight championship in Las Vegas.

Though there is no suggestion Mayweather will come out of retirement once again, despite continuing to heavily spend.
