Stone Cold Steve Austin vows to return to WWE after raising hell at Raw Reunion – The Sun

STONE COLD Steve Austin has vowed to return to WWE again after his appearance at the Raw Reunion.

The beer-swilling Texas Rattlesnake, 54, was just one of a host of stellar names from yesteryear to show up in Tampa, Florida for last night’s spectacular.

Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan were also in attendance as John Cena kicked off the show.

But it was up to Stone Cold to close it.

And he was joined in the ring by his fellow legends while he signed off with one of his traditional beer celebrations.

Austin was still punch-drunk on the buzz from performing in front of the WWE Universe again.

And he wants to see the Raw Reunion begin an annual event.

Speaking to WWE.com, the former world champion said: “It felt great to be back out there.

“I'm not a sentimental guy, my name's Stone Cold Steve Austin and I'm known for dropping people on the stack of dimes that they call a neck.

“But to go out there with all of my brothers and sisters on this Raw reunion, I hope that they continue to do this every year because I will continue to show up.

“You don't need to ride me off into the sunset just yet.”

Stone Cold is one of the biggest names ever in wrestling and led WWE’s charge against WCW in the famous Monday Night Wars in the late 90s.

Unfortunately his in-ring career was cut-short due to injury.

On the advice of doctors, he called time on wrestling in 2003.

His final match saw him lose the to The Rock at WrestleMania 19.
