Steelers open as -14.5 favorite over Dolphins for Week 8

The Pittsburgh Steelers (2-4) host the Miami Dolphins (0-6) to close out Week 8 of the NFL regular season Monday, Oct. 28, at 8:15 p.m. ET during Monday Night Football at Heinz Field. The game can be watched on ESPN. It isn’t a surprise the banged up Steelers are favored, but they enter as the heavy, heavy favorites, according to odds from BetMGM.

Not only are the Steelers ( -834) the chalk pick in this one, they’re also being spotted more than a two-touchdown spread with a -14.5 (-110) line against the spread (ATS).

New to sports betting? With a spread of -14.5, that means the Steelers need to win by at least 15 points over Miami for a bet on Steelers ATS to cash in. Considering the Dolphins are ranked 31st in the NFL on offense, that might not be too much of a reach after all.

Feeling a Dolphins upset victory? BetMGM’s early odds have them at +575, which means a $10 wager on Miami would pay $57.50 in profit should the Dolphins win their first game of the season. Meanwhile, a $10 wager on the Steelers at -834 returns a profit of just $1.20, so you’d have to risk a lot for any substantial return.

The Over/Under on the Steelers-Dolphins game has been set at 43, with a -110 line on both the over and under for this Week 8 NFL matchup.
