Shocking footage emerges as wrestler brutally body slams popular actress

An actress has accused an American pro wrestler of taking a bribe and intentionally injuring her by brutally body slamming her

The incident took place at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium in the district of Panchkula in the northern Indian state of Haryana.

Popular actress Rakhi Sawant was taken to hospital after the wrestler lifted her up and brought her crashing down to the floor.

As seen in the footage, American wrestling star Tanea ‘Rebel’ Brooks picks up the 39-year-old Indian actress and sex symbol before ‘body slamming’ her and leaving her on the ground.

In other footage, Sawant is then seen being helped to leave the ring after being unable to stand.

The clip has gone viral with over 2.1 million views and thousands of comments.

According to reports, Sawant challenged the 40-year-old pro wrestler to a bout, however she was left with stomach and back pains and hospitalised as a result.

Another clip shows the actress writhing in agony in the ring, before being carried out.

Sawant has since shared several videos of her in hospital and in one post she claims that Rebel "intentionally harmed me".

The actress shared the pro wrestler’s name and social media profile and claimed: "She took money from @iamtanushreeduttaofficial and tried to injure my back so that I can never dance again or entertain my fans.

"My dear lovely fans from India, America and pura world, I request you to stand with me and let’s fight back with those British people."

It is unclear what she meant by "British people" as Rebel is from Oklahoma in the US.

Meanwhile, the pro wrestler hit back on Instagram, saying: "This drama queen (Rakhi Sawant) wanted to step in the ring with me! Yes, I bodyslammed her and I am sorry I hurt you! But don’t spread lies about me!"
