The AFL has announced that either Tony Shaw (should Collingwood win) or Dean Kemp (West Coast) will present the premiership cup to the winning grand final team on Saturday.
Shaw is a Magpies legend, having played a club record 313 games, including captaining the 1990 premiership and winning the Norm Smith Medal that day as well.
Collingwood’s premiership winning captain Tony Shaw with coach Leigh Matthews in 1990.
The 58-year-old was a two-time VFL/AFL team of the year member, captaining the side in 1990, two-time best-and-fairest winner, Collingwood Team of the Century member and Collingwood Hall of Fame inductee.
He captained Collingwood for seven seasons, coached them for four and was inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame in 2010.
Meanwhile, Kemp is a great of the West Coast Football Club.
Kemp, who coincidentally made his debut against Collingwood in 1990, played 243 games for the Eagles, including two premierships.
He was selected in the 1992 All-Australian team, won the 1992 best-and-fairest award, claimed the 1994 Norm Smith Medal and was inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame in 2007.
The 49-year-old also co-captained West Coast for a season in 2001.
Peter McKenna presented the Magpies with their 2010 premiership cup while Glen Jakovich handed over the silverware to the Eagles in 2006.
