Sarri so impressed with Ramsey he will change Juventus formation to get best out of ex-Arsenal star – The Sun

AARON RAMSEY has made such an impact in Italy that Maurizio Sarri is preparing to change his formation to suit him.

Ramsey was forced to wait for his chance to shine at Juventus as the hamstring injury suffered last season took longer than hoped to heal.

But the former Arsenal star has shone in the two games he has played since finally making his debut – so much so Sarri wants to make him his main man in midfield.

Having scored in his first game for the Italian champions, the Wales star has quickly become a major hit with the club's fans.

Sarri is also taken with his driving runs in midfield, believing it makes a major influence on his side.

So he wants the 28-year-old to play the central role in his side, just behind the attacking unit of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo Higuain.

The idea is for Ramsey to be the dominant force in the centre of the field as Sarri's side go searching for their ninth successive Serie A title.

But it also gives him the freedom to make the searching late runs into the area that make him such a goal threat.

The industry in Ramsey's game stands out in Italy, and Sarri knows he has a weapon in the ex-Gunners ace to make a genuine impact.

But as he works on the formation on the training ground, it appears Sarri will sacrifice another former Premier League star as a result.

Emre Can has only been at Juve for a year following his decision to quit Liverpool and move for on a free to Italy.

But the abundance of options available in that position, especially now Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot are involved, have seen him become something of a forgotten man.
