Sarri says Premier League will miss Mourinho – but hopes he's not back at Chelsea soon

The Portuguese coach is looking for work again after being sacked by Manchester United this week.

No overseas manager has won more than the three titles scooped by Mourinho and given his success Sarri believes the 55-year-old will be back, but hopefully not as his replacement.

The Blues boss said: "I think so [he'll be back in the Premier League].

"Mourinho won everything, won everywhere so I like him very much as a coach and as a man.

"I think he is right when he said that Manchester has a future without Mourinho, but he has a great future without United.

"I would like to see him on the bench as soon as possible.

"Maybe in England…. not here!"

Chelsea continue their attempts to keep their noses in front in the race for the Champions League places when they host Leicester City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

They have a three-point advantage over fifth place Arsenal, who could go above them temporarily if they beat Burnley heavily in the lunchtime kick-off.

All eyes will be on the team selected by Sarri, who has deployed Eden Hazard in a false nine role from the start in the last two Premier League games, ahead of Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata.

Sarri admits he is yet to be convinced by the system and wants to test it further before deciding whether to stick with it.

He added: "I don’t know. I was sure about City in that position we could do a good match.

"Against Brighton I started to see this situation in different matches.

"Now I want to see it against a team very compact, in low density.

"We have to see."
