Romelu Lukaku, Anthony Martial and Alexis Sanchez back for Man Utd vs Bournemouth

Belgian star Lukaku, 25, has missed the last week on compassionate leave and hasn't played in either of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first two games in charge.

United beat Cardiff 5-1 in South Wales before breezing past Huddersfield 3-1 at home yesterday – with Solskjaer given a hero's welcome on his return.

Meanwhile, Martial and Sanchez missed the win over the Terriers through illness and injury respectively.

Martial pulled out moments before the game was due to kick-off, while Sanchez is still recovering from a hamstring injury.

But following yesterday's win, Solskjaer had good news, saying: "Next week we’ll have Sanchez, Martial back, you’ve got Lukaku to put on.

"Alexis is back. He flew in, he’s had two days of good fitness work, hopefully he can join in training with the ball as soon as we get back in.

"It’s touch and go for Bournemouth, but he’ll definitely be involved at Newcastle."

Man United host Bournemouth on Sunday, before travelling to struggling Newcastle on January 2.

Solskjaer will hope to keep his superb festive form going, but knows his side still sit a whopping 19 points behind league-leaders – and fierce rivals – Liverpool.
