Real Madrid 'ready to let Eden Hazard leave in January transfer' amid Chelsea, Newcastle and Everton interest

EDEN HAZARD could be close to ending his Real Madrid hell, with the club reportedly willing to 'listen to offers' for the 31-year-old this month.

Hazard has endured a miserable time at Real Madrid since joining from Chelsea in July 2019 for a reported £130million.

And Real Madrid are happy to let Hazard leave the club in January, according to Spanish outlet AS.

Although they state a move this month is 'not easy' due to his high wage demands.

The Belgium international currently takes home £9.2m-per-year, which works out at over £175,000-a-week.

A firm offer is yet to be tabled, although there is alleged interest from the Premier League in the form of Newcastle and Everton.

A £41million transfer has been rumoured, but Hazard's wage demands could prove to be an issue.

Roberto Martinez is Hazard's international coach, and has been linked with the Everton job, so could look to bring the winger to Goodison Park with him.

Meanwhile Eddie Howe is targeting multiple reinforcements at St James' Park to help kickstart the Saudi-led revolution.

Yet Newcastle's ongoing relegation battle and Everton's precarious league position could prove to be a stumbling block in a potential deal.

Chelsea too have been linked with a reunion for the former Stamford Bridge favourite.

Hazard's lack of minutes combined with his injury woes have led to Madrid accepting his departure.

It has also been reported that the feeling is mutual, with Hazard ready to quit Real Madrid after a dire spell in the Spanish capital.

Yet AS report that the most likely scenario is a summer transfer, after Hazard spends the second half of the season building his fitness in Madrid.

He's started just six games in La Liga so far this campaign, and would need to further prove himself before being subject to a firm offer for his services.
