Real Madrid have NO interest in Gareth Bale and desperately need to offload him to fund transfer spree – The Sun

REAL MADRID have no interest in keeping Gareth Bale and need to sell him to balance the books following their summer spending spree, according to reports.

But the Welshman, who scored just 14 goals last season, is reluctant to leave Los Blancos and will not push for his Bernabeu exit.

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has made it clear he does not have a place for Bale, 29, in his plans for next season.

He regularly omitted the Wales star in his team selections and did not give him a single minute on the pitch in La Liga's last three matchdays of the 2018/19 campaign.

And Marca report that the Spanish giants have to offload the former Spurs star in order to "recoup a large sum of money" following their summer spending.

Real Madrid have already splashed nearly £300million this transfer window, signing Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic and Eder Militao, among others.

But Bale's agent Jonathan Barnett reiterated earlier this week the forward has "no intention" of leaving.

The former Spurs ace is currently relaxing on holiday in Mexico, ready to come back to Spain and start pre-season preparations.

And his camp are adamant that if Los Blancos want to get rid of the Welshman, they need to make it happen themselves.

Real Madrid are so desperate to flog Bale that they are keen on letting him go on a free transfer.

Manchester United have been a long-term admirer of the former Spurs man's talent.

But Premier League clubs can't afford to sign Bale – as revealed by SunSport in March.
