Raiders need 14 points to raise $90k for Australia's housing crisis

Fourteen points. That's what the Canberra Raiders need to score against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Canberra Stadium on Saturday to help raise $90,000 for Home for Homes.

For every point the Raiders scored at home this season $100 was raised towards the charity that tackles Australia's housing crisis.

Together the Raiders and Denman Prospect donated $34,000 in 2016 and $29,200 last year, and need just $1400 to reach $90,000 raised over the past three seasons.

Ricky Stuart's Canberra Raiders need to score at least 14 points to raise $90,000 for Homes for Homes.

Denman Prospect project director Nick McDonald Crowley said the Raiders will announce this season's donation at full-time of the Rabbitohs game.

"The Raiders’ long-term commitment to Homes for Homes turns every try scored at home games into
$400 and every conversion into a further $200 donation to help address the shortage of social and
affordable housing," he said.

"We have been proud sponsors of the team and this initiative, which funds social and affordable projects in the ACT."

Raiders coach Ricky Stuart added: "All money we raise together will stay here in the ACT for local, Homes For Homes projects."
