Premier League top four race is closer than EVER as Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham lock horns, say bookies

Leading bookmakers are struggling to separate Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham for the Champions League spots.

The four teams are priced between just 2/9 and 3/1.

The battle for top four is also made much tougher with Liverpool and Man City seemingly out of sight, meaning only third and fourth place are up for grabs.

As things stand Tottenham are most likely to finish behind the top two at 2/9, with Chelsea at 2/5 to make up the final spot.

While Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's resurgent Red Devils are 6/4 ahead of Arsenal at 3/1 to nab a top four finish.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "As if the title race itself wasn't enough, we could be set for the most thrilling top four four-way tussle ever."

Spurs are currently in third place with 51 points, just four ahead of Chelsea.

But Mauricio Pochettino's men have lost two on the bounce and have felt the effects of being without Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Son Hueng-Min.

Son however is set to return for Tottneham following South Korea's exit from the Asia Cup.

Manchester United have won all eight games under Soljskaer since he was brought in to replace Mourinho.

And United have clawed their way back to level points with Arsenal as they trail fourth-placed Chelsea by three points.
