Premier League title odds 2022/23 – Betfair: Man City and Liverpool favourites, Chelsea lead Spurs, Man Utd and Arsenal | The Sun

MANCHESTER CITY are outright favourites to be crowned Premier League champions this season.

That's according to bookmakers Betfair, who've priced the Citizens at odds-on 4/7 to secure a FIFTH title in SIX years.

Pep Guardiola's side pipped Liverpool to the title on the final day of the 2021-22 campaign courtesy of a miraculous turnaround against Aston Villa.

And Betfair are suggesting it could be a similar story this time around with Jurgen Klopp's side available at 11/5 to exact revenge.

It's been a quick turnaround and now there's less than two weeks until the new campaign starts on August 5th.

It will include a six-week mid-season break to accommodate the World Cup in Qatar with the final round of fixtures to be played on the final weekend in May.

But what do the latest odds say?

Manchester City are favourites at 4/7 to defend their crown.

The Etihad heavyweights have been busy in the transfer market with Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips arriving for £43million — a direct replacement for Fernandinho.

They've also brought in Norwegian superstar Erling Haaland.

The Citizens managed to win the title without a recognised forward after the departure of Sergio Aguero.

And the arrival of Haaland, who netted 86 goals in 89 appearances for Borussia Dortmund, could see an explosion of goals.

They have, however, sold Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko and kick-start their season with a tricky fixture against West Ham at the London Stadium.

Liverpool, who start against promoted Fulham, are next at 11/5.

The Reds have said goodbye to superstar winder Sadio Mane, Neco Williams, Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi this summer.

While youngsters Fabio Carvalho and Calvin Ramsay join blockbuster £68million signing Darwin Nunez at Anfield.

Chelsea are a distant third in the betting at 13/1, a fraction ahead of Tottenham at 14/1.

Antonio Conte's side have signed Richarlison, Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic, Clement Lenglet and Djed Spence to join Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski, who arrived in January.

Manchester United are 25/1 to clinch the title during Erik ten Hag's debut campaign, ahead of Arsenal (40/1) and Newcastle (100/1).
