Paul Pogba limps down tunnel holding groin after Burnley draw to hand Man Utd injury scare

When Pogba emerged from the dressing room after last night’s dramatic 2-2 draw against Burnley, he was limping heavily.

The Frenchman had played the whole 90 minutes against the Clarets, and sparked United’s fightback from two down with an 88th minute penalty.

Yet he was clearly in some pain as he hobbled out of Old Trafford 90 minutes after the final whistle, sparking fears he faces a spell on the sidelines.

United’s late show maintained their unbeaten run since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took the temporary reins eight games ago.

After his goal, Pogba dedicated the strike to his newborn child as he sucked his thumb in celebration.

Pogba’s incredible turnaround in form has been the key factor in that, but he will struggle to make Sunday’s game at Leicester if his mobility last night is any indication.

And if the problem proves to be more serious, United could face going into a crucial spell against Liverpool, Chelsea and PSG in three competitions without him.

After the match, the World Cup winner told the BBC: "We have to learn from our mistakes and next time start the game differently.

"Like the manager said, you have to start strong and be aggressive because that's what they were in the first half.

"We played like we were winning 1-0 or 2-0, that's where we went wrong.

"The comeback was positive but the result was disappointing. The reaction was good, we didn't lose, but we dropped two points we could have won."
