Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray not expected to start against Baylor

Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray is not expected to start Saturday when the fifth-ranked Sooners face Baylor.

According to a report from Yahoo Sports, Murray is being benched for disciplinary reasons. Instead, Austin Kendall will be behind center to start the game. The sophomore has completed eight of 10 passes for 88 yards and a touchdown this season

The story appeared to be confirmed by a tweet from Kendall's mother: "Game Day! Austin's first collegiate start is today against Baylor! @A_Kendall11 #proudnom #ballout??"

The tweet is protected but has been confirmed by multiple news outlets.

A request to Oklahoma for confirmation was not immediately returned.
