Mesut Ozil injury update with Arsenal ace set to miss Huddersfield clash with back problem

The German ace is still struggling with back problems and can be out for his fourth league game in a row.

Despite Ozil being sidelined, Arsenal cruise through the season unbeaten in their last 20 games.

And Standard reports, the German, who scored three league goals for the Gunners this season, will not be available again this weekend when Arsenal host Huddersfield on Saturday.

The 30-year-old midfielder is still suffering to back spasm and trains away from the first team.

Ozil has missed his last three Premier League outings, having been benched against Bournemouth before injuring his back.

In a further injury blow, Unai Emery might have to cope without Aaron Ramsey and Rob Holding who were hauled off in the 2-2 draw with Manchester United on Wednesday.

Arsenal boss said after the match the defender's knee problem is "big" as he left the pitch on a stretcher.

The Welshman twisted his ankle and is a major doubt against Huddersfield despite the club calling his half-time substitution tactical.

Emery hopes, however, that the Gunners' captain Laurent Koscielny will come to rescue as he might be granted his long-awaited return on Saturday.

The Frenchman has been out for seven months due to an Achilles injury, but has recently featured in two U21 matches and will be reassessed before hosting the Terriers.

Arsenal are fifth in the Premier League, 10 points behind Manchester City.
