Going Dutch
Erik ten Hag was spotted heading out for some dinner on his own as the Manchester United boss plots more business in the transfer window.
The Red Devils secured their first signing of the summer on Wednesday as they confirmed Mason Mount's £60million arrival from Chelsea.
And Ten Hag celebrated the acquisition by enjoying a meal for one at the Italian restaurant La Famiglia in Hale Village, Cheshire.
He was snapped entering the establishment in a blue blazer, smart trousers and white trainers.
It comes as Man Utd continue to be linked with several more signings in the coming weeks.
They have reportedly submitted a £39million bid for Inter Milan keeper Andre Onana.

Seventh heaven
Man Utd fans are upbeat about the possibility of ending their wait for a Premier League title following the emergence of a stat involving new signing Mason Mount.
He has been given the No7 shirt to wear at Old Trafford – a number vacant since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo last season.
And the move symbolises something positive for the Man Utd faithful. This is because the last English player to wear the No7 for the club was Michael Owen during the 2010/11 season.
During that campaign, the striker registered just five goals in 17 games. But what United supporters are taking away from it is that they lifted the Premier League title at the end of the season.
In response to the stat, one social media said: "So you’re saying we have a chance."
Another added: "What are you saying to me right now?"

Marc my word
Marcus Thuram once had to google himself to get past security at the San Siro before playing against Inter Milan.
However, in a turn of events, Thuram has now joined the Italian club that he had to convince he was a professional footballer.
Man Utd target Thuram – son of French World Cup winner Lilian – turned up at the San Siro in 2020 ahead of a Champions League clash to represent Borussia Monchengladbach against Inter Milan.
However, the tight security blocked his entrance, leading him to google himself.
And the club's official Twitter account tweeted about the exchange with photos of Thuram searching his own name online, before later deleting the post.
The mix-up is likely caused by the fact Thuram, 25, was sporting a face mask amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Top Roy
Roy Keane has told a hilarious story about being caught in a strip club on a Manchester United pre-season tour.
After being asked on the Overlap Live to reveal his best night out story that he has never told, he recalled: "We had a good night out in pre-season with Man United in Chicago one night that was pretty mad.
"We had a night out, we took a couple young players, pre-season, we were definitely in Chicago, I remember that.
"Woke up the next morning, Denis is waking me up. We’re kind of trying to get down for the bus where we were travelling.
"I looked and all my face was black, just black. I couldn’t work out what happened. I went: ‘Jesus.’

Stairway to seven
Mason Mount's move to Old Trafford from Chelsea will see him tasked with the job of wearing the club's iconic No7 shirt.
It was made famous by George Best, Bryan Robson, Cristiano Ronaldo, Eric Cantona and David Beckham — producing their own thrilling football with the number on their backs.
But for many who have worn it since Ronaldo first graced the shirt before leaving in 2009, it has also proved a heavy burden. Even CR7 himself eventually struggled in it following his return to Old Trafford in 2021.
Many have failed to cope with the pressure of the shirt and now it is Mount's turn to try his luck.
The midfielder joined the club in a £60million deal from Chelsea and will earn roughly £250,000 per week.
Here, SunSport’s Manchester United reporter NEIL CUSTIS looks at the hits and misses in that magical jersey.

Ratcliffe insists he's still in the takeover hunt
SIR Jim Ratcliffe insists he is STILL in the race to buy Manchester United.
Britain’s richest man believes the “special” club is like “rare art” and his bid is just what it needs.
But Ratcliffe, who is locked in a £6billion battle with Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, knows he cannot force the Glazer family to sell to him.
Ratcliffe, who has met United’s owners “a couple of times,” explained: “I’ve signed an non-disclosure agreement so I can’t say too much.
“But there is still a process — and we are in the process.”Despite asking for “third and final” bids at the end of April, the Glazers’ chosen deal-makers, the US-based Raine Group, then allowed both Ratcliffe’s and his Ineos petro-chemical giant and Sheikh Jassim to refine their offers.
Sheikh Jassim wants “100 per cent control” while Ratcliffe was prepared to offer to buy a majority stake which could allow current United co-chairman Joel and Avram Glazer to stay on for some time.

Levy 'fuming at Bayern over Kane'
Daniel Levy is reportedly fuming with Bayern Munich for talking to Harry Kane behind his back.
According to reports in Germany, the Tottenham chairman wants to "bleed" the Bundesliga side to sell this star striker.
BILD have reported that Levy has made his disapproval of Bayern's tactics to his "circle of friends".
To Levy's disapproval, Kane is believed to have agreed personal terms with the German outfit.
It is also suggested that manager Thomas Tuchel has met with Kane and talked about winning the Champions League.
Bayern have seen a bid of £60million rejected for the England international.
And the report claims that if the club were to convince Spurs to sell this summer, then they would have to offer much more.
BILD states that Bayern will have to offer upwards of £100m to seal a move.
Considering Kane is in the last year of his contract in North London, the fee would prove to be quite high as he would be a free agent next summer.
The report also suggests that Levy will block a move to Bayern due to the club's "transfer misconduct".

Amrabat on the radar
Manchester United have reportedly reached an agreement over personal terms for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.
Gazzetta dello Sport claim the Morocco star’s representatives have accepted terms for any deal.
But even if there is an agreement, it’s far from certain the 26-year-old would move to Old Trafford.
Old Trafford boss Erik ten Hag has to tread carefully financially after signing Mason Mount.
And it’s thought Amrabat would take some reassuring that he’d be more than just a back-up for Casemiro.
Not only that, Barcelona are also said to be monitoring the former Feyenoord and Club Brugge ace.

Takeover – 'things happening behind the scenes'
Claims from Qatar that Sheikh Jassim could be nearing a takeover of Manchester United have been spiced up closer to home.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is sure there have been developments "behind the scenes".
Reports from the Sheikh's home country suggest current owners the Glazers might soonsign sale contracts with the banker's representatives.
And Romano told GIVEMESPORT: "It's a very complicated story.
"Things are happening, for sure, behind the scenes. This is 100% confirmed."

Mount's dad had secret role in deal
Mason Mount's dad played a secret role in finally sealing his transfer to Manchester United.
The deal had looked in doubt after Chelsea dug their heels in over the fee following Mount's contract row.
Mount completed his £60million move to Old Trafford on Wednesday morning, signing a five-year deal with the Red Devils.
The move had been at risk of collapsing after Chelsea rejected a £55million bid from United last month.
However, the two clubs finally reached an agreement to allow the deal to be finalised, thanks in part to the player's dad, Tony Mount.
According to The Athletic, Tony stepped in as United looked ready to walk away from the deal.
In a phone call with Chelsea co-owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, he smoothed over the cracks to help reach an agreement.
Chelsea's owners had been unwilling to budge from their valuation of £70million plus add-ons for Mount.
The report adds that the conversation has been credited with getting talks re-started before the deal was completed.

Ten Hag tells Mount why he signed him
Erik ten Hag has told Mason Mount that he wants him to be a "very important" player for Manchester United.
The England international joined the Red Devils in a £60million deal that will see him earn roughly £250,000 per week.
Mount, 24, has signed a five-year deal with Man United following his switch from Chelsea.
He will become another midfield option for Ten Hag, who is planning for a new Premier League season alongside a campaign in the Champions League.
Mount will likely challenge Scott McTominay, Fred and Christian Eriksen for a spot in the starting eleven alongside Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro.
Now Ten Hag has confirmed that he has big plans for the midfielder during their first meeting since the transfer went through.
He told Mount: "I want you to be a very important player for this team."
In response, Mount looked ready to go as he replied: "Cheers, gaffer, thank you.
"I better go and get on the pitch now. Get my boots on."
Mount will be able to add goals and assists to the Man United midfield, as he managed 58 goals and contributed 53 assists in 279 club appearances.

PSG chief's brutal message to Mbappe
PSG chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi has broken his silence on Kylian Mbappe.
The club president has sent a brutal message to the contract rebel amid his links to Manchester United.
Mbappe's future with the French champions remains uncertain after he confirmed he would not be extending his deal beyond next summer.
His stance has left PSG at risk of losing him on a free in 2024 if they cannot negotiate a sale before the end of the transfer window.
The club's £250million-plus asking price has cooled interest in Mbappe, but Al-Khelaifi is adamant he will not depart for nothing.
He said, via Fabrizio Romano: "Of course we don't want him to leave for free in 2024.
"Our position is clear. If Kylian wants to stay, we want him to stay. But he needs to sign a new contract. We don’t want to lose the best player in the world for free, it’s impossible."
Al-Khelaifi also added: "Mbappe has said that he will not leave for free. If he changed his mind, it is not my fault."

'MM7' – the day kid Mount did a Ronaldo
A video of a young Mason Mount mimicking Cristiano Ronaldo has resurfaced online after he took the Manchester United icon's shirt number.
The £60million England midfielder swapped Chelsea for the Red Devils on a five-year deal worth around £250,000 a week.
Mount has taken the No7 shirt for the Red Devils following his 18-year stint at Chelsea.
But during his time as a youngster at the Blues, he revealed that he copies Ronaldo's technique for taking free-kicks.
In a clip showing a young Mount with floppy hair, he says: "I try to base my free-kick on Ronaldo.
"Hit the ball by the valve and it moves. That is all you do. Top corner and top bins."
The video then jumps to Mount taking a free-kick and he perfectly pulls off the technique as he sends the ball flying into the top corner.
And United fans were left loving the comments from Mount as they reacted on social media.
One Tweeted: "Following in his idol footsteps 7️⃣❤️." A second commented: "#MM7."

Day of the Sheikh-up?
Manchester United’s takeover saga could be completed today with Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani winning the race to replace the Glazers.
United’s unpopular owners put the club up for sale in November and targeted a deadline of March to ease the transition before the summer transfer window.
The race has boiled down to two participants, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim.
Ratcliffe is looking for majority control while keeping the Glazers on board in some capacity, while the Qatar businessman is seeking a 100 per cent full takeover.
And Qatari publication Raya now claims his bid is finally set to be accepted, with the Glazers signing all relevant documents in the coming hours.
Sheikh Jassim’s people are already said to be “expressing their confidence” in emerging victorious.

De Gea could still hold Utd contract talks
David de Gea is tipped to hold contract talks with Manchester United – despite being a free agent after his contract expired last week.
The Manchester Evening News suggest the Red Devils would still love to recruit Inter Milan's Andre Onana as their new No 1.
But apart from the financial headache of recruiting £40million-rated Onana, it seems any move could also be dependent on how negotiations with De Gea develop.
The Spaniard rejected a big pay cut and left Old Trafford – in fact, he got married on his first day out of work last weekend.
But the MEN predict the keeper will soon hold more face-to-face talks with United chiefs.

Reece claims Mount 'will always be a Blue at heart'
Reece James aimed a subtle dig at Manchester United fans during his emotional farewell post for Mason Mount.
The Red Devils unveiled their new £60million man Mount, 24, on Wednesday morning as he officially departed Chelsea after 18 years at the club.
Nearly all of that has been spent alongside Blues team-mate James, 23, who is just 11 months Mount's junior.
The pair have also enjoyed each other's company at international level for England.
But it was from their time as Chelsea youngsters that James shared some old snaps following Mount's exit.
He posted one picture of them as young boys – alongside Declan Rice.
And James added another image of him and Mount a little older as they battled for the ball in training.
He then wrote a lengthy caption – which included a cheeky dig at United supporters as James claimed Mount will "always be blue at heart".

More from Ince on Man Utd
Paul Ince has also had his say on former club Manchester United being interested in Inter Milan's keeper Andre Onana.
David de Gea is out of contract and it remains to be seen whether he will extend his stay at Old Trafford or move elsewhere.
Speaking about Onana, Ince told Betway: "First and foremost, he's a fantastic keeper. He's young, he's got loads of potential, he's great with his feet.
"A lot depends on what the situation is with David De Gea. Obviously, his contract is finished and there's ongoing talks. I presume that De Gea will be saying, 'Listen, if I'm going to sign then I need to be the No. 1'.
"But if they're going to cut his wages and he doesn't agree to terms, I think Onana will be the next one to come in.
"The ball's in De Gea's court. He knows he's going to have to take a reduction in his wages, and if he does that, I can see him back between the sticks come the start of the season."

Man Utd legend Ince on Kane transfer
Former Manchester United man Paul Ince has had his say on his old club potentially signing Harry Kane this summer.
He told Betway: "For me, if Kane was to leave – and you don't like to talk about players while they're still at another football club – but any money left at Manchester United would go straight on him, without a doubt.
"If you can get Harry Kane, that makes them serious challengers next year.
"They definitely need a striker, that’s for sure."
