Man City fly back after Shakhtar Donetsk win with £1m worth of cars waiting for them at airport

It was job done for Pep Guardiola's troops out in Ukraine, as they secured a 3-0 win away to Shakhtar Donetsk.

And as they arrived into Manchester Airport today, their top-of-the-range cars, totalling more than £1million, were lined up for them.

Leroy Sane's Bentley GT, Aymeric Laporte's Range Rover and Raheem Sterling's Mercedes G Wagon were gleaming in the car park.

They were joined by Gabriel Jesus' Mercedes CLS, Nicolas Otamendi's Rolls Royce, Fernandinho's Mercedes CLS and Kyle Walker's Bentley Bentayga.

And as you might expect, the players didn't have too far to walk to their vehicles, as they were parked right outside Terminal 1.

Out in Ukraine City turned in a breath-taking display to became the first English team to beat Shakhtar Donetsk on their own patch.

And in truth the Ukrainians must be relieved it was only three – Paulo Fonseca's men got off lightly.

David Silva was once again in sparkling form – adding to his winner in Hoffenheim earlier this month by breaking the deadlock here.

Further goals from Aymeric Laporte and Bernardo suggest their defeat to Lyon in the opener last month was a mere hiccup.

Surely they will push on from here to book a place in the knock-out stages with something to spare from here.

And in this kind of irresistible form, it's hard to think of too many teams better equipped to go deep in the competition this season.
