Liverpool starlet Dominic Solanke is 3/1 to join Rangers in January after starring for England's U21s

The Reds striker has reminded everyone of his qualities with England's U21s after his sensational back-heel flick saw him notch four goals in two games.

Rangers are favourites to sign the 21-year-old who has not played a single minute of senior football for Liverpool this term.

Reds legend Steven Gerrard is hoping to bring the highly-talented youngster to Ibrox from his former club.

Since becoming Rangers boss, Gerrard has already snapped up Ryan Kent, Jon Flanagan and Ovie Ejaria from Anfield.

Newcastle are second favourites at 5/1 and are front runners out of the Premier League clubs in the market.

Betfair: Solanke's club after the January window

Liverpool (to stay) 4/5

Rangers 3/1

Newcastle 5/1

Huddersfield 6/1

Brighton 11/1

Crystal Palace 14/1

Meanwhile Huddersfield, Brighton and Crystal Palace are also being linked with a move by the bookies.

Betfair Spokesperson Katie Baylis said: “Solanke has been in hot form for the U21s and the fact he’s not played for Liverpool yet this season means other clubs will surely be eyeing him up.

"At this stage we make it 4/5 he will stick with Liverpool, with a move Rangers at 3/1. Newcastle and Huddersfield could be options at 5/1 and 6/1.”

The only time Solanke has made Jurgen Klopp's the match-day squad this season was for the Carabao Cup tie against Chelsea in September.

But despite being on the periphery, Solanke is not worried about his lack of game time.

He said: "Jurgen is a great manager and he knows what he is doing, especially when he is bringing people through."
