What is the latest update on Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha's condition?

Leicester owner Srivaddhanaprabha's helicopter took off from the pitch and crashed just a matter of seconds later in the car park.

It was seen spiralling out of control in the air with an apparent problem with the tail fin, and medics are currently attending the scene.

A Leicestershire Police spokesman wrote on Twitter: "We are dealing with an incident in the vicinity of the King Power Stadium. Emergency services are aware and dealing."

And following the crash, a Leicester statement said: "We are assisting Leicestershire Police and the emergency services in dealing with a major incident at King Power Stadium.

"The Club will issue a more detailed statement once further information has been established."

beIN Sports' Ben Jacobs spoke to King Power following the incident and revealed Srivaddhanaprabha was in the chopper when it crashed.

He tweeted: "Spoken to King Power, who will release a statement tomorrow. #LCFC owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was on-board the eight-seater helicopter to London.

"Failure, upon take off, resulted in a fire prior to a crash in the car park. No news on casualties. Prayers with #LCFC family"

Who is Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha?

Leicester's owner is a Thai-Chinese businessman bought in Bangkok in 1958.

A popular figure in the city, his leadership helped the club to win a miracle title in 2015.

And he further endeared himself to Foxes supporters by buying every one of them a beer when the Premier League crown was confirmed.
