Jurgen Klinsmann's son Jonathan called up for USA to face England and Italy

The 21-year-old goalkeeper, whose famous father won the World Cup with Germany, could make his debut at Wembley as Wayne Rooney bids farewell to Three Lions fans in a charity testimonial and may also feature against Italy next week.

Klinsmann plays for German side Hertha Berlin and starred for his country at the Under-20 World Cup in 2017.

The youngster comes in for Zack Steffen, who is taking time off to deal with a hamstring injury suffered last month.

Klinsmann will compete with former Aston Villa star Brad Guzan for a place between the sticks.

Premier League target Christian Pulisic is also set to start after starring for Borussia Dortmund this season.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s Matt Miazga, Tottenham’s Cameron Carter-Vickers, Newcastle’s DeAndre Yedlin and Fulham’s Luca de la Torre were all present for training at Brentford on Monday.

Other players including Wolfsburg’s John Brooks and Schalke’s Weston McKennie will also be looking to make an impression in the hope of attracting interest from one of England’s top sides.

The USA also boast another player who has a famous father, with PSG’s Tim Weah in contention for a midfield spot.

His dad is the iconic George Weah, currently President of Liberia after starring for the likes of AC Milan, Chelsea and Man City during a trophy-laden career.
