Josh Warrington vs Carl Frampton: Tale of the tape for IBF featherweight title clash at Manchester Arena

The former world champ's only defeat came to Mexico's Leo Santa Cruz last year and he is determined to get back to the top.

Known as the Jackal, the 31-year-old has 26 wins – 15 by KO – and comes into the fight as bookies' favourite.

Warrington, 28, is representing hometown Leeds and the footie-mad puncher will be hoping size does matter.

He stands two inches taller than his rival and boasts five inches of extra reach, which could prove crucial, although he is not known as a big puncher.

Both camps have accused the other of struggling to make the 9st limit ahead of the clash and each fighter has admitted grappling with retirement.

Belfast's Frampton hit rock bottom after losing to Santa Cruz and had an ugly split with father-figure manager Barry McGuigan and his trainer son, Shane.

He wanted to quit and let wife Christine  kick-start  the  career in criminology she had postponed to support her husband but has now linked up with trainer Jamie Moore.

Warrington has accused the Jackal of being over the hill after he admitted having one eye on becoming a house-husband.

But he later told SunSport that having twin baby girls has left him in a similar boat.

Warrington vs Frampton collide at the Manchester Arena tomorrow night and will be live on BT Sport Box Office.
