DOMINATEUR (3.10 Chepstow, nb)
He has won his two chases around in Chepstow in style and looks just the type for the Welsh National. Those victories both came in testing ground including a big novice contest on this card 12 months ago.
A three-runner race at Sandown last time was never going to suit but he’ll be spot on for fitness and has improvement to come.
ONE TRUE KING (3.30 Kempton, treble)
He should love stepping up in trip here after a barnstorming success at Leicester last time.
He won at Uttoxeter earlier this year before two excellent seconds at Cheltenham. Moving beyond two miles for the first time should bring out the best in him.
