Female rugby league star celebrates Grand Final win with a passionate kiss

The skipper led her side during a 34-12 triumph over the Sydney Roosters to win the  first ever NRL Women’s Premiership trophy.

Halfback Brigginshaw went straight to Kate Daly and shared a touching moment, which has been compared to State of Origin couple Karina Brown and partner Vanessa Foliaki.

The Broncos has their captain's leadership and a Kimiora Nati hat-trick to thank for their victory.

Coach Paul Dyer immediately challenges his players to follow up their success.

He beamed: “You’ve just got to back the culture of the team, that they want to be a part of that again.

But I am hoping a large percentage will want to be back here next year.”

Brigginshaw added: “For Steph and Heff (Ballinger), it may be their last game so it means a lot to me — this team may not be together again.

“We wanted to embrace the moment together.”
