Nevertheless, he started between the sticks as Jurgen Klopp's men took on the Cherries at Anfield.
His afternoon started badly, having to pick the ball out of his net after just three minutes following Antoine Semenyo's strike.
It nearly got worse just five minutes later, when he got caught dawdling on the ball.
Alisson initially received it under little pressure in his own penalty area, before being closed down by Dominic Solanke.
