When Eric Reid signed with the Panthers in September, he made it clear that the signing wouldn’t lead to the dropping of his collusion grievance against the NFL. In fact, his treatment from the league since returning to the field may be strengthening his claim.
Reid was fined $26,739 for his hit on Buccaneers receiver Adam Humphries last week. Reid was not penalized during the game for the hit, and he appeared to hit Humphries in the chest with his arms.
