Dubai World Cup 2022: UK start time, live stream, TV channel, odds, betting, prize money, runners and riders

WITH just shy of £9 million in prize-money on offer, the Dubai World Cup is one of the world's biggest and most valuable horse races.

Run under the lights of the stunning Meydan circuit, the race is the centrepiece of this Saturday's Dubai World Cup night.

Horses from all over the world come to compete for their slice of the £8.8 million pot, with the winner taking home a staggering £5.3 million.

This year's red-hot favourite is the American-trained Life Is Good, who has won five of his last six starts including the Pegasus World Cup and the Breeders' Cup Mile.

With the race being run on dirt, American trainers dominate the betting with the next three in the market – Hot Rod Charlie, Country Grammer and Midnight Bourbon – all trained in the USA.

The card, which begins at 12.20 UK time, features a further four Group 1 contests, featuring plenty of Irish and British interest.
