The WBC heavyweight championship belt is on the line Saturday when Deontay Wilder faces off with Tyson Fury at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Wilder, a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, will face Fury (27-0) and the fight – to be televised by SHOWTIME pay-per-view – figures to be highly entertaining if it can match the news conference Wednesday at the Westin St. Bonaventure Hotel & Suites.
Wilder is the champ, holding the WBC heavyweight belt with a 40-0 record that includes 39 knockouts.
Fury, meanwhile, has battled back into the ring after a two-year absence during which he battled depression and other demons.
USA TODAY Sports' Martin Rogers will be breaking down the fight as it happens, offering round-by-round analysis of the bout.
