Dejan Lovren was crammed into the elevator alongside Alberto Moreno, Roberto Firmino, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jordan Henderson and Andy Robertson.
And the Croatian defender saw this as the perfect opportunity to get his camera out and film his team-mates.
Luckily, most of Jurgen Klopp's men appeared to see the funny side of the scary situation.
Robertson and Moreno were in hysterics and Firmino looked calm as he made a gesture towards the camera.
But Alexander-Arnold looked less than amused as he kept a straight face and shook his head in disbelief.
Henderson, on the other hand, looks petrified.
In the background, one of the players can be heard shouting: "Trent's fault."
Lovren added the caption: "Stuck in a lift with team-mates the day before a game. right boys."
He shared the hilarious clip with his 2.1 million followers on Instagram and it was quickly uploaded to Twitter.
A Liverpool fan page said: "It looks like we could be facing some concerns for Tuesday's game on account the lads are stuck in a lift."
While one supporter replied: "Trent's having none of this hahahaha."
The Reds will host the German giants at Anfield on Tuesday in the first-leg of the last-16 Champions League tie.
