Legendary darts referee Russ Bray has been tipped for Celebrity Big Brother after announcing his Ally Pally farewell.
The upcoming World Championship will be the last for 'The Voice' Bray, 66, who is winding down his career next to the oche having worked in the sport since 1996. He'll still be reffing part-time and is taking on an ambassador role with the PDC.
But with more time on his hands in 2024, Bray could be set for a stint on ITV's returning reality TV show, which is making its comeback next year after the recent success of the civilian version.

That's according to bookmakers Ladbrokes, who have him just 3/1 to be one of the housemates for the new series, which doesn't yet have a release date.
Spokesperson Alex Apati said: "Darts' most iconic voice has finally checked out of the refereeing game, but the latest odds suggest he'll soon be swapping one mad house for another, with a stint on Celebrity Big Brother potentially on the cards next year."

Bray's final World Championship will be the 28th behind the microphone. His voice in synonymous with some of darts' greatest moments, and his '180' call is instantly recognisable thanks to his raspy voice.
Reflecting on the past three decades, he told the official PDC website: “I've had a magnificent career so far, and this game has given me so many opportunities and memories.
