Dana White shows off incredible body transformation as UFC chief reveals he 'water fasted' for staggering 86 hours | The Sun

UFC president Dana White feels like a "superhero" after water fasting for 86 HOURS – despite doctors warning the practice is 'not safe'.

White has undergone a stunning body transformation this year after dealing with health issues.

But the American businessman looks even more shredded than before after adopting a new diet regimen.

White issued the following post on Twitter: "I did an 86 hour water fast and I feel INCREDIBLE!

"Obviously I'm not a doctor, but I've been told by the experts that water fasting can help to significantly reduce the risk of cancer, Alzheimer's and a ton of other health issues."

Despite White's claim – other doctors have warned against the dangerous diet.

White's explained that he began water fasting after UFC 295 on November 11 and ran until November 15.

The 54-year-old also sought advice from human biologist and bio hacking expert Gary Brecka throughout the fast.

White said: "I just got done fasting for 86 hours. I feel like a superhero, I feel incredible and I want to tell you how I did it.

"So when I left the event on Saturday night, I started fasting. I just got done this morning, so Saturday to Wednesday.

"I don't know if you've seen this online, but it's called the seven-day water fast.

"Doctors have done studies on this and this thing is legit. It gives you an over 70 per cent chance of not getting cancer and other nasty diseases.

"Basically, you drink water for 72 hours. So, the first 24 hours, you drink water, and you can use that [electrolytes] in your water.

"Then, the next day, this is the cleanest [bone] broth that you can buy. This thing only has 45 calories, less than one gram of carbs, and it has like 13 grams of protein.

"So, all it really has is protein and 45 calories. That is the cleanest broth out available; chefs will tell you that. It's Gary Brecka-approved. You can pick this up anywhere.

"You do this twice a day for the next two days. You drink all your water with electrolytes, but you could do the broth twice a day, bone broth – the bone broth, twice a day for the next two days.

"You're gonna feel incredible. And obviously, you're doing it for the internal, but externally, you get absolutely shredded on this thing."

However, doctors have advised against water fasting as it can cause fatigue, heart problems, arthritis, gastrointestinal problems, endocrine issues, neurological problems and much more.

Krista Varady, Ph.D., professor of nutrition at the University of Illinois told Men'sHealth: “I would say it's not a safe choice—definitely not—for people to do on their own."
