The Eagles forward was caught by makeshift Gunners defender Granit Xhaka six minutes from time, with Luka Milivojevic converting from the spot to earn Palace a point.
In a post-match interview after the game Xhaka said he thought the incident was a “clear penalty”.
But Zaha once again found himself in the spotlight, with accusations he went to ground easily after a delayed reaction.
And the Ivory Coast international, 25, took to Instagram to reveal the extent of the abuse he received.
He wrote: “For all the people taking it one step further and being racist and wishing death on my family I wish you and your families the best too x p.s my life is still very good despite your hate.”
He had already hit back at critics after the game on Instagram, saying: “I wouldn’t normally do this but since everyone is giving me abuse today…don’t go anywhere.”
Zaha was at the centre of another dive storm only a week before after the ex-Manchester United man won a pen against Everton.
The tricky winger was clipped in the area by Toffees defender Seamus Coleman on 59 minutes, and although he didn't fall to the ground immediately, it looked a clear foul.
But Zaha was still castigated on Twitter.
One person wrote that the winger "should have been an actor", while another added: "Zaha diving imagine my shock".
User "Dom" posted: “Wait? Zaha? Going to the ground easily? No way!”
Alex Bradford wrote on Twitter that "the reaction from Zaha is embarrassing.”
