Cristiano Ronaldo gives incredibly bitter response to Mohamed Salah's Merseyside derby strike winning Puskas Award

The Liverpool star's super finish against Everton won the trophy at Fifa's The Best Awards.

But the former Real Madrid star believes his overhead kick against new team Juventus in the Champions League more than justified bagging the gong.

Now, Ronaldo has revealed all to fans during an Instagram Live session for fans on Friday… and come across a tad resentful.

Ronaldo said: "Salah, it was a good goal. My goal in reverse, we're serious.

"Bicycle kick, my goal. Was amazing goal come on guys. Should be honest, don’t lie to yourself.

"Of course my goal was the best.

"I’m not p***ed. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

"I’ve maintained my level for 15 years. I’m happy."

Ronaldo scored his acrobatic effort in the Champions League quarter-finals against Juve – before joining the Serie A giants just months later.
