Conor McGregor: UFC comeback, WWE switch, boxing return or retirement – what is next for the Irishman?

Uncertainty surrounds the Irishman as he could return to the octagon to avenge his loss or put his MMA career behind him.

Betfair expect McGregor to bounce back and return with a fight in the UFC at 1/5 as he waits to learn his future.

Meanwhile the 30-year-old is 6/1 to make the switch to the entertainment world of WWE.

But the Mac could choose to hang up his gloves and retire at 10/1.

Meanwhile a fight in a boxing ring is the longest price of them all at 14/1 after his huge bout with Floyd Mayweather.

Betfair Spokesperson Katie Baylis said: “McGregor’s future is back in the news after his comments over the weekend and following his shambolic return to the UFC, his future is in doubt.

"We still see his next move as another UFC outing with odds of 1/5 he’ll next return to the Octagon.

"He’s 6/1 to turn up in WWE, and 10/1 to actually step away from all fighting forever, while a return to the boxing ring is at 14/1.”
