Conor McGregor reveals he weighs a whopping 85KG as musclebound UFC superstar eyes April return to full sparring

CONOR MCGREGOR has revealed all his hard work in the gym has left him weighing a staggering 85 kilograms.

The Irishman has been smashing the weights during his recovery from his broken leg, which he shattered in his July trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier.

McGregor, 32, has put on a considerable amount of size over the last few months and is now walking around at a whopping 187lbs.

When asked about his weight during an impromptu Twitter Q&A, he told fans: "Right now. 85kg of muscle. No fat."

Fans of the Notorious were shocked to hear his current walkaround weight, with one saying: "RIP lightweight."

Another said: "Right now few fat, but when you cut.., demolition man is coming."

One asked: "Would you move up to 170?"

Former two-division champion McGregor is expected to return to the octagon in July at the earliest.

The Dubliner's manager and business partner, however, recently revealed to SunSport that his recovery is well 'ahead of schedule'.

Paradigm Sports Management chief Audie Attar said: "He's ahead of schedule.

"We not only just got our x-ray results [back], [we got] our ultrasound results and CT scan results.

"And when I look at the view of the x-ray myself, it's healing so beautifully.

"He's only 10-and-a-half weeks out of surgery and he's walking.

"And he's actually doing s**t that we don't want him to do like throwing the first pitch at the Cubs game."

And Mystic Mac is just waiting for his tibia to fully recover before he resumes hard combat training.

He told fans: "The fibula is fully healed.

"The medial side of the tibia is developing nice callous also.

"It is just patience now for it to form down through the bone to the lateral side of the tibia where the larger break occurred.

"It’s getting there. Patience will win this race for me!"

Although McGregor plans on being patient with his recovery, he's expecting to to be back sparring by April at the latest.

He said: “I will be full mixed martial arts sparring by April. Easily!

"By then a return will be imminent. But I must be patient. I will beat this!”
