Conor McGregor is the 'caucasian Floyd Mayweather', says boxing legend

'Money' also failed to rule out a potential venture into martial arts while appearing on Kevin Hart's Cold As Balls programme.

Mayweather beat McGregor by a technical KO in the 10th round of their blockbuster fight in 2017.

Both fighters had engaged in an extensive thrash talk prior to the fight, with the 'Notorious' laughing off the 41-year-old American's attire and age, among others.

But 'Money' seems not to hold any grudge as he has come up with possibly the highest praise for McGregor and called him a "caucasian" version of himself.

He told Kevin Hart: "McGregor is the Caucasian Floyd Mayweather, you know, he's a knockout version, he's a hell of a knockout version.

"I take my hat off to him, he's a dog.

"I wanted the man to have a career after me, it sounded good for him to say [that referee stopped the fight early]."

Mayweather has recently swept away Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in a three-round exhibition boxing match at Rizin 14.

Following the bout, rumours have emerged 'Money' could give McGregor another chance with the two fighters reportedly in talks over an MMA rematch.

And Mayweather said that he indeed was thinking about making his debut in octagon as it would bring him yet another heavy paycheck he could cash in.

Meanwhile, Mayweather is also though to be mulling over the idea of a Manny Pacquiao rematch, which could take place in September.
