Canucks goalie Richard Bachman makes perfect pass to Wild’s Mikko Koivu for easy goal

The Vancouver Canucks gave goaltender Richard Bachman his first start of the year Thursday night.

It was a good time to put the 31-year-old in net. No. 1 goalie Jacob Markstrom had started the last nine games, it was the final game of a road trip and Bachman was 2-0 with a 2.18 goals-against average during his career against the Minnesota Wild.

But things didn't go well.

In the first period with the Canucks killing a penalty, Bachman stopped the puck behind the net, gave two looks up ice and tried to clear the puck out of the zone.

Unfortunately, his pass went straight onto the stick of Mikko Koivu and with Bachman still behind the net, the Wild captain had probably the easiest layup of his career.
