Bray Wyatt could be WWE's replacement for Braun Strowman at TLC against Baron Corbin

The Eater of Worlds has not been seen on either Raw or SmackDown since the retirement of his tag-team partner Matt Hardy.

However, the former WWE Champion answered an open challenge from Baron Corbin at last night’s Starrcade.

The bout eventually turned into a six-man tag match, but finished with Wyatt scoring the pin on Corbin.

Meanwhile Strowman, who is booked to meet Corbin at the TLC pay-per-view on December 16, is currently sidelined.

The Monster Among Men is due to undergo elbow surgery tomorrow, and that has led Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer to speculate WWE could be gearing up for change.

He said: “I don’t know if that means he’s going to be back at TV on Monday or not.

“But perhaps that means they may do an angle on Monday if Strowman can’t wrestle and Bray Wyatt comes back and wrestles Baron Corbin in San Jose, maybe?

BIG DOG Roman Reigns appears publicly for first time since cancer shock

“Who knows? But maybe [Wyatt] will be back on Monday.”

Whatever is in store, WWE fans will be eager to see what unfolds on Monday Night Raw.

'I JUST CAME OUT ON TV!'

WWE superstar Sonya Deville has opened up about the moment she came out as gay in front of the world on TV in front of Triple H.

The SmackDown Live star has become one of the biggest faces in the women’s division since debuting on the main roster a year ago.

But 25-year-old Sonya, real name Daria Berenato, is proving to be much more than just an inspiration inside the ring.

And it all started three years ago after she was given an opportunity by WWE on Tough Enough.
