Boxing Day's horse racing NAP: Your best bet for today's racing from Callum Jamieson

The big guns have stood their ground, with a total of seven declared.

The market is headed by Santini – after his impressive chase debut at Newbury.

He looks a tad skinny for me and I sway heavily towards BAGS GROOVE (Kempton, 1.55) at a bigger price.

He's joint top rated on figures with The Worlds End, but is yet to be tested in anywhere as deep company as the majority of his rivals.

Despite that he's put up huge figures and has yet to be pushed out fully by Noel Fehily.

His jumping has been sublime so far and he'll be right at home galloping away at Kempton.

The ground is set to be decent enough for this time of the year. It will undoubtedly play into his hands more than it would the majority of his rivals.

Santini has never raced on anything worse than soft, while Topofthegame's best form has come on testing ground.

His price is already tempting, and I think with a less flashy profile compared to some of those with bigger yards, he could even be a bigger price come the day.

Let's hope Harry Fry can put you in the Groove for the rest of the card.

Again, it's good to see all the main protagonists stand their ground in the feature race.

My pick is NATIVE RIVER (Kempton, 3.05) who looks over priced.

He looks a cracking each way bet and there's no doubt he'll be better off for his encouraging effort in the Betfair Chase at Haydock.
