Best horse racing tips: Sun Racing's top picks for today's racing at Bath, Nottingham, Newcastle and Wetherby

We've had our heads in the form book and picked out our strongest fancies from across the four cards.

Bath

Best bet

3.25 Haats Off – Favourite looks vulnerable here and Haats Off looks well placed to take advantage, hopefully with some juice in the ground. Her early season form suggests she's capable of winning one of these.

Each way

2.55 Galmarley – Has improved rapidly this season and is officially the best horse in the race. Had she been trained by a trendier yard you'd have to think she'd be one of the favourites. Has been a real eyecatcher on a number of runs this year.

Nottingham

Best bet

4.05 Elasia – Well thought of and beginning to improve in typical Roger Varian fashion. Only won narrowly last time and up 2lbs but she could be plenty better than her current mark.

Each way

3.35 Existential – Remains unexposed and happy to forgive Ascot run last time. Went well before fading out there and her novice form reads very well.

Newcastle

Best bet

6.45 Drogon – Has had his sights lowered here and should take all the beating. Has a penalty to shoulder, but if running up to par it's hard to see how anything could get past him.

Each way

6.15 Hermana Santa – A very weak race and hard to make a case for much. But David Barron's horse is less exposed than most and has shown enough in better races to look a huge price here.

Wetherby

Best bet

3.45 Ballyandy – A small field and the majority of runners on their comeback run make this a trappy little heat. But Ballyandy should have enough class to get through this. He's shown enough in a few starts over fences.

Each way

4.20 Becky The Thatcher – Tiny fields at Wetherby force my hand here slightly, but this mare is much better over hurdles than she is on the flat and she should be competitive given her fitness edge over a few of these.
