Best horse racing tips for today's action at Kempton, Lingfield, Newcastle, Chepstow and Wolverhampton from Tom Bull

I've been mooching over the other cards too and have picked out some Saturday sizzlers across the rest of the country.

Kempton

3.35 Glen Rocco – Demolished a decent field at the track last time out and earned a big rise in the weights.

He'd previously only been beaten under three lengths by Arkle contender Glen Forsa, and that horse is now rated 150 – while Glen Rocca, after his raise, is still only on 137.

That suggests he's still got plenty of room in his mark and we know the course and distance is ideal.

Bully's Saturday Bankers

2.05 Lingfield – Gorgeous Noora

2.40 Newcastle – Ange Des Malberaux

3.35 Kempton – Glen Rocco

3.40 Chepstow – Samburu Sharjaa

7.00 Wolverhampton – Alkaamel

Chepstow

3.40 Samburu Shujaa – Won a maiden hurdle in emphatic style here last time, careering away from an admittedly weak field.

An opening mark of 129 doesn't look too harsh and he should have plenty more left in the locker as he keeps getting better.

The champ is booked and despite the big field, a lot of the runners don't count.

Lingfield

2.05 Gorgeous Noora – Expect Archie Watson's mare to fly late as she steps back in trip.

She couldn't lay a glove on Kachy in second last time but there's no shame in that and this is an easier assignment.

All of her rivals have to give her weight and she looks a nice price to go one better.

Newcastle

2.40 Ange Des Malberaux – Dan Skelton has done wonders with his nine-year-old and his last two wins have been achieved with the minimum of fuss.

This is obviously a much harder contest but I'm confident he'll get the trip as he stayed on strongly over three and a half on his penultimate start.

He gets in towards the bottom of the weights and although his rating has gone up there's no knowing how much improvement he could have left in him.

TAKE A STAND Phil McEntee hails fellow trainers as Lingfield's Saturday card is boycotted

Wolverhampton

7.00 Alkaamel – Continues to look a horse well ahead of his mark and it would be a surprise if he wasn't capable of getting even better.

Cieren Fallon is very good value for his 7lb claim and he should be able to steer this one home even after a rise in the weights.

Expect him to take this before going on to better things.
